Our Classes
Child (4+)

Due to the high demand for lessons, registration is limited to one class in sessions 1-3 and one class in sessions 4-6.
This class meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 1 week.
Prerequisites - Children must be at least 4-years-old and comfortable in the water to participate in this class.
Children will become acclimated to the water through games and will learn basic safety skills. Children will then learn to float on their front and back while propelling themselves through the water using their arms or legs.
Ideally, children will learn fundamental freestyle and backstroke skills with emphasis placed on the coordination and timing of the strokes as well as the development of a strong flutter kick.
Skills - Independent movement through the water, submersion, nose bubbles, floating on front and back, recovery from a floating position, gliding, streamlined body position, propulsive kicking, introduction to propulsive arms, sit dives, and safety skills.
Requirements
- Children and adults registered for lessons may arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before class begins.
- All participants must wear proper swim attire.
- At the end of class, families are asked to exit the pool as quickly as possible to make way for the next class.
Toddler & Parent

Prerequisite - To participate in this class, children must be 1 to 3 years old.
Join us for this exploration of water safety. This class is designed for young children who are most at-risk for accidental drowning. Together, parents and children will learn key safety tips and skills while playing games and singing songs.
Requirements
- A parent, guardian, or responsible adult is required to participate in the water at every lesson.
- All children who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper.
- All participants must wear appropriate swim attire.
- At the end of class, families are asked to exit the pool as quickly as possible to make way for the next class.
Adult

This class runs Monday through Thursday for 1 week. To receive the most benefit from swim lessons, please plan to attend all classes.
If you are an adult (16 or older) and are uncomfortable in the water, or have no previous swim lesson experience, then this class is for you.
Students will learn basic swimming techniques and key water safety skills. Students will move through the activities at an individual pace while building confidence and comfort in the water.
Skills - Water Acclimation, Movement Through Water, Floats (Front and Back), Recovery, Elementary Backstroke, Water Safety, Introduction to Freestyle.
Requirements:
- Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before class begins.
- Arrive in proper swim attire.
- Immediately exit the facility when class is over.
